Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Burnout of Healthcare Providers who cared for Patients with Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) in a Tertiary General Hospital

Purpose : This study aimed to identify post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and burnout experienced by healthcare providers who cared for patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) their influencing factors.Methods Data were collected from 135 COVID-19 in a tertiary general hospital June 8 September 2, 2021, using questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis t-test, ANOVA Scheffe’s Pearson’s correlation coefficients, multiple regression used analysis SPSS/WIN 27.0.Results Participants’ average PTSD score was 9.31 ± 11.80, 8.9% the high-risk group. 51.77±21.28, 62.2% at high risk. scores differed significantly according participants’ age, education, job, position, current workplace. Burnout gender, marital status, parental education. There positive between burnout. The factors term of self-isolation age (R<sup>2</sup>=.09). no significant on burnout.Conclusion reconfirmed that both burnout, suggesting interventions are needed such as regular pre-training or simulation training establishing support system.
